L.L COOL J COVERS ESSENCE MAGAZINE!!!

Who ever thought L.L Cool J would land the cover of what?? Essence Magazine. James Todd Smith will be on our stands this Friday. L.L is releasing a new album entitled “Authentic”. Am I excited about the album, no, but I give L.L many props for staying in the game for twenty years!

Here is what L.L had to say about the cover:

“This is my first cover, and that’s an important milestone for my career because in the African American community it’s basically our most important magazine. There are other very important magazines, don’t get me wrong, but Essence is the crème de la crème in our community.”
