Earlier this week media outlets were all ablaze with reports that 50 Cent had shown up at the VH1 Diva's Celebrate Soul 2011 show with Chaka Khan. As smitten as I was with the thought it was a little awkward considering Chaka is every one's aunt or mother in our heads. Well today MTV News reports the union on Sunday night was entirely based on music. 50 Cent with be collaborating with Chaka Khan musically on "hit music" 50 says. I think it could make for a great sound but lately 50 Cent has been putting out so many different sounds. I still appreciate him for what he did to the hip-hop game lets hope he can get back that fire.
