“Iyanla Vanzant travelled to Yonkers, New York, to meet Earl Simmons, also
known as multiplatinum rap artist DMX” to make an attempt to help him overcome his battles with himself, and most importantly his son. They met at Powerhouse Studios, home of
his Ruff Ryders label, after DMX told Iyanla's producers he needed help with
his addiction to women.
DMX agreed
to have a conversation with Iyanla but most of you who know DMX know that it
was very volatile, and full of outbursts . DMX has always been dismissive,
aggressive, and battling with his soul. It was hard for him to listen, and
really understand why his son Xavier hadn’t spoken to him in a year and half.
Most of DMX’s family, and friends think that he will be dead one day. He says he’s not
interested in getting clean, and believes he doesn’t have a drug problem but
Iyanla believes differently. He is definitely a wounded soul, will there be
any repair for DMX’s life? Check out the videos from the one on one interviews
