'12 YEARS A SLAVE' WINS BEST PICTURE OF THE YEAR!!!

I thought '12 Years A Slave' winning the Oscar for Best Picture last night was a highly deserved win. The film depicting a time where even while freed, Black people were still being taken for slavery. It was done extraordinarily. I still remember the chilling feeling, and how psychologically we were subdued, and oppressed against our will. It was a story that had never been told, and I had no problem with us making a film that doesn't keep Black people where they are, but taught us where we were, and how far we had come. Some people have complained that they are tired of having slavery movies. What do you think? Is this a step backwards?

God Bless you!
