NATINA REED LOSES HER LIFE CROSSING THE STREET!

Besides all of us surviving the repurcussions of Hurricaine Sandy I'm sure some of you have heard that a sweet voice of one of our past R&B favorites has passed. Natina Reed stepped into the seen back int he day as a protege of Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes, hitting us with heavy hits "808" and many more. "Well unfortunately last Saturday, we learned of the tragic news of the death of former “Blaque” member, Natina Reed. Reed was the feisty rapper of the group, and was also the mother of Kurupt’s son. The exact details of her death are still somewhat unclear, but what we know is that Reed was struck by a car while standing or walking on a roadway in Atlanta late Friday night. Friends have expressed their grief and condolences to the Reed family since then. "

According to sources the cause of this accident might have been her talking on a cell phone. I mean really guys we have to do better if that's the case. I have noticed that talking on cell phones and texting while driving, walking, crossing the street, is a growing epidemic causing fatality. We all are doing it, and honestly we all have to take responsibility and know that this behavior can be dangerous. No definitive information has been confirmed but I hope it was not that. Rest In Peace Natina...........

Here is a press statement released by Natina's publicist:

“We are devastated by the loss of our group member, sister and friend Natina Reed. Because of the enormous support of Blaque fans and our love for each another, Blaque officially reunited this fall and we were in the process of working on a new album and a reality show. Natina continuously embodied the pioneering spirit of Blaque and her undeniable creativity touched the hearts of fans everywhere. Natina was a mother, sister, accomplished songwriter, artist and friend. We ask for your prayers at this time for Natina’s family. She will forever be missed and her global influence eternally felt. We thank God for the experiences we shared.”
