Evelyn Lozada 'Afraid,' Says Chad Johnson 'Needs To Get Help' - ABC News

On Aug. 11, Lozada was taking groceries out of a car that Johnson used to drive to football practice when she said she found a bag in the backseat with a toothbrush holder and a Walgreens receipt for a box of condoms inside. The receipt was dated July 20, she said, three weeks after they were married.

When Johnson came home later that evening, Lozada said she got into his car to confront him about the receipt and threatened to leave him.
"And then the next thing I know, he grabbed me by here [pointing to her head] and he head-butted me," Lozada said. "I felt blood coming down my face… and I looked at him and I said, 'You just head-butted me?' And it just -- everything just felt if it was in slow motion."
The 36-year-old reality star said she tried to remain calm during the exchange because she said Johnson was angry, and denied he had done anything wrong.
"He was gone to me, like, it wasn't him," she said. "He got out of the car, really, really quick and ran into the house, and I said to myself, 'I need to get out of here.'"
Lozada said she ran to a neighbor's house where she hid outside until the neighbor came home and called the police. She then went to the hospital where she said she received six stitches on her forehead.

When things like this happen, all you can say is how did it happen? Unfortunately a music industry veteran has died. "Chris Lighty, who founded and ran Violator Entertainment, has passed away. His mark on the world of hip-hop and music in general is legendary, as he helped launch the careers of some of the genre's biggest names.As part of Violator, he helped start and mold the careers of everyone from Q-Tip to 50 Cent to Busta Rhymes, among many others. Lighty was a true pioneer and pillar of the hip-hop community and will be sorely missed.

 

Later reports throughout the day the Chris Lighty may have committed suicide. Still waiting on further confirmation. This is so unfortunate. We must put God first in all things, because we cannot fight every battle on our own.

TYLER PERRY STUDIO ABLAZE AGAIN!!

Alright Tyler it looks like it's time for some more security. Tyler Perry's studio has caught on fire for the second time. According to sources firefighters are currently at his studio (which is on Continental Colony Parkway). AJC confirms that police dispatchers reported that the roof of the building at the complex was on fire, with two dozen firefighters on the roof, but no smoke showing. This is alarming news, as the last fire happened in May of earlier this year. Either you have one angry employee, or something just isn't right. lol.

TAMEKA RAYMOND LOSES HER CHILDREN!!!!

I am so not an advocate of mother's loosing their children, especially if there was no physical, mental or emotional harm to their well-being. It was quite surprising to me to hear that Tameka Raymond, Usher Raymond's ex- wife had lost custody of both of her children. WHOA! That's deep. The judge awarded Usher custody of  Usher V (4) and Naviyd (3) with the following orders:

“The father shall have final decision-making authority with respect to all matters concerning the children, including but not limited to education, religion, extracurricular activities, health and mental well-being, but he shall first discuss any major decisions relating to such matters with the mother.”
 

How did Tameka lose custody? Some say it was Usher's financial leverage, but other's argue that Tameka obviously had some shady friends who testified against her. Yikes. How terrible. I can only imagine what Tameka is feeling right now. What mother wants to lose her children? ...

Tia Mowry, who I blog on her show by the way, is pissed at this, because her son Cree, has been the product of much scrutiny, and get this over what you ask? His looks! Wow. Tia says its' unfortunate that as a society, and in that world, we as women cannot just be ourselves after giving birth, and our children can't just be themselves when they come into this world, because of who their parents are. Very unfortunate.

CHAD JOHNSON FIRED FROM YET ANOTHER DEAL............

According to TMZ, Chad has now lost his new endorsement deal with Zico coconut water. When it rains it pours, I tell you. A rep for Zico released a statement today, saying, "In light of recent events involving Mr. Johnson, we have decided to terminate our relationship" with him.

CHRIS BROWN AND DRAKE MAY NEED TO PAY UP

I can't say I feel sorry for these two at all. "The troubled SoHo club that was the scene of the bottle-hurling brawl between Chris Brown and Drake's posses has accused the musicians of ruining its reputation and torpedoing a $4 million deal to expand its brand around the country.

The owner of Greenhouse is suing Brown and Drake for $16 million, claiming they ordered their beefy security teams to throw "highball glasses laden with alcohol" and shatter "the handles of bottles of spirits to use as makeshift knives" during the June 14 melee.
Entertainment Enterprises, which is registered to club owner Jon Bakhshi, filed the lawsuit in Manhattan Civil Supreme Court Tuesday, saying it owns the federal trademark to "Greenhouse."
Before the June 14 dust-up, Entertainment Enterprises had reached an "agreement-in-principle" with another business to license the Greenhouse name and brand to nightclubs around the country, the lawsuit says.

"[The business] was primarily interested in the cachet and prestige associated with the Greenhouse marks," the lawsuit says.
But Entertainment Enterprises claims the interested party called off the deal when it learned of the musicians' melee, "explaining that the Greenhouse marks were now associated with the kind of violent, life-threatening riot engaged in by [Brown and Drake], and that they were now worthless."

All I have to say in the end was "Was it all worth it"?

EVELYN FILES FOR DIVORCE!!!

According to a few reports, it’s a wrap for Basketball Wives’ Evelyn Lozada's marriage, she  either has filed or will be filing divorce papers this week. Really! No therapy, no last minute meeting, just a wrap. I have to say I am really surprised. This whole thing just smells creepy to me. No official statement has been released from Lozada or Ocho’s camp. Radar Online reports that within the next 48 hours, legal papers are expected to be filed in a Miami courtroom. The couple have been married for only 40 days. The affair finally came to a head in the beginning of May, Shiner claims, when after spending a passionate night together, Beverly was heading back over and he didn’t reply to her texts or calls. “He had asked me to come over so I drove there and knocked on his door and he didn’t answer even though I could hear his X Box playing. Then I texted him the next day and he didn’t apologize,” she told Radar. “I got upset and told him, ‘You are not the guy I thought you were,’ to which he replied that he had been sleeping and warned me, ‘You’re overstepping your boundaries a little bit. I’m not your man, keep your comments to yourself.’”
“It wasn’t just a one night thing, he always said he wanted to move in with me, and said if he had I’d be pregnant by then. He kept asking if I wanted to have more kids. “Once, when I was at his house, I asked what would happen if Evelyn walked in right now, and he said she wouldn’t care. “He said, ‘I’m not doing anything different than what every other man is doing,’ he thinks it is fine to cheat. I feel he was completely disrespectful and he led me on,” she said bitterly.

Not sure what to believe when it comes to this story this weekend, but unfortunately right after a story book wedding last month Ocho Cinco got arrested for domestic violence against Evelyn Lozada! According to the report, after Johnson allegedly head-butted Lozada during an argument about a receipt for condoms, Johnson began screaming at Lozada, saying, “I don’t give a f**k! I don’t give a f**k about my career!” According to the report, Lozada “fled on foot to a neighbor’s house to get away from Johnson.” The report goes on to say that Johnson drove around the neighborhood looking for Lozada, who had called police from the neighbor’s home.

If convicted, he faces a maximum penalty of one year in jail and a $1,000 fine, or could get community service, probation or anger management classes.

I wish I had more details, because this doesn't sound like it was out of the blue. What will Evelyn do? I wonder what Jennifer is thinking now? Would this be a plot to secure ratings for their new show coming up this September. Who knows. I hope they get this together.

POOCH HALL RETURNS FOR "THE GAME"

Looks like Pooch Hall (Derwin) will be returning to "The Game" for another season. Everyone is wondering whether Tia Mowry will be returned but it looks like she's moved on. I wonder to what exactly???Oh Boy. Sometimes you have to keep at something till the wheel's fall off, and I love your reality show Tia, but you could definitely have  held on tight another season. Ok Toya Wright, Memphitz Wright's wife has finally made a statement concerning the K. Michelle allegations of him physically abusing her, but was it needed? Girl, some things are better left unsaid, and sometimes all the haters want is for you to respond and give their platform some light. If Memphitz is a great man in your eyes, that is all you needed to be concerned about not responding to a female and her version of their relationship. Now none of us know the real truth, but does it really matter? Is this the part where a twitter war begins with these two? I hope not.

Peep Toya Wright's statement at a blogger's luncheon in Atlanta:

“I promised myself that I wasn’t gonna talk about that because she’s so irrelevant to me, but I’m gonna say this: The picture she’s painting of my husband is not my husband. I’ve been knowing him for six years, I know several women that he has dated that never said anything about abuse. If somebody abuse you like that, where is the proof, where is the police report, where is the pictures, where is the messages that you said he sent threats to your kid and threatened to kill your child?…It don’t matter about love, you would be in jail if you threaten my kid…And she’s saying that I said all this stuff about her, pull it up, where is it? I never said anything about that situation, never addressed it…Memphitz father died years ago in Memphis. He comes from a family where it was always his mother and his father so he’s like a loving person, he’s very affectionate. Anybody that knows him for real just be like ‘what is wrong with this girl?’ And the crazy part about it is everybody say that you crazy and you hit them. You the abuser. I just wish that she would stop saying my name. I got a gag order that I just got. Pump your music up. You was given a platform, I was given a platform, I was here to tell my story. I been through a lot of things with my ex, yall don’t know about that. I’m not here to bash him, I’m not a hater. THERE IS NO AALIYAH MUSIC BEING CO-SIGNED BY BROTHER

As you all have heard, some years later, Drake has taken it upon himself to put out a a track with Aaliyah's vocals on it. The track "Enough Said" was produced by Noah Shebib. As I wondered when the desire, and idea came to fruition, I came across reports that let me know that her brother  isn't co-signing any of this material. Aaliyah's brother hit facebook and informed us of the below:

"there is no official album being released and supported by the Haughton family.” -Rashad Haughton (regarding upcoming album release rumors)"

That all seemed very confusing since her uncle and owner of her label Barry Hankerson's  logo was  on the track cover for the Drake callobo.

Not sure if Aaliyah's brother just wants his sister's memory to keep as their treasure, but things are definitely looking like a project maybe on the way to release some more tracks.

TAMEKA RAYMOND EXPRESSES HER THOUGHTS....................

There is so much swirling in the news about Tameka Raymond, and Usher Raymond after the death of poor Kile Glover. It was hard for me to write this, because I found myself wanting to stay away from talking about someone who was mourning the loss of their son. I thought it very heart breaking to even think about making them a candidate for my media frenzy desires. However soon after hte funeral I began hearing reports that Tameka Raymond felt it important for us to know that she was not at all supported by Usher during the mourning of her child during his two weeks in the coma.

 I have to admit, I understood why she would care, but wondered why she felt it necessary to take to the media with this information. So I kept reading, and today Tameka has finally made a statement about her real feelings, and why her and Usher are still proceeding with their court custody battle over their two boys. I think this is shameful that a situation so serious couldn't bring these two back to reality, but hey I'm not in their shoes.

Below is what Tameka  had to say:

To begin, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the countless number of people who opened their hearts, extended their prayers, well-wishes and remained hopeful for my son Kile during the last weeks of his life. I truly believe that he has always been an Angel from birth and the World was just too small to contain a spirit so vast … Again I THANK YOU ALL!
Sadly, I remain in the unfortunate position of having to respond to and attend court proceedings that were not initiated or begun by me. I did not file this custody case (January 2011) and was content with the ‘joint custody’ arrangement that we share.

Most importantly, nor do I wish to appear in court while I am mourning the loss of my son. But I do not want to delay thus prolong these proceedings either; I’d rather continue this arduous process hoping it will help move me through this most difficult period in my life.  People seem to be privy to only my filed responses as ‘Defendant’ to the initiation of this case (Jan 4, 2011), when I have only been defending myself and protecting the best interests of my children through my counsel. I cannot control how the media reports are written/slanted/spun or even how court documents may be manipulated in their attribution of certain statements as if they are direct “quotes” from me- yet I can control what I actually say myself. My boys are my entire world and I will fight tooth and nail to keep all of my sons together as a family, I pray for a swift, peaceful resolution so that we all can move forward.

Mayweather looked fit as he donned a leather Miami Heat cap, pulled a gray hooded sweatshirt over his head and shared hugs with about 20 family members and friends, including his 12-year-old daughter, Iyanna Mayweather, and his manager, Leonard Ellerbe.
He said nothing to the media as he got behind the wheel of a blue Bentley sedan with several friends inside, including rapper 50 Cent, and drove away."

Now let's see if Floyd can do it for us again in the ring. With the jail conditions and lack of good dietary nutrients how long will it be before the money team is back. Only time will tell!

GABBY DOUGLAS WINS THE MEDAL!

I have been eyeing the Olympics here and there but nobody could miss out on the news last night that Gabriel Douglas had WON the Olympic gold for gymnastics: Below is what she  wrote on her  blog for ESPN according to Bossip last night.

"One of the most nerve-wracking moments of my life happened tonight, as I waited for the final score on floor in the Olympic all-around final. I had finished and was in first place, but Russian gymnast Viktoria Komova was the last gymnast to go and had done an amazing floor routine. My heart was absolutely racing.

Do I have it? Do I not have it? Will I be first? Second?
My coach, Liang Chow, said, “You’re the Olympic champion! You have it!”
But I couldn’t believe him until I saw the scoreboard. When I finally saw the results, I was speechless. Tears of joy streamed down my face, and I started waving to the crowd and my family in the stands.
When my mom first took me to Chow’s gym two years ago, she told him I wanted to be an Olympic champion someday. He told her he would do his best. He jokes now that he wasn’t so sure he could do it.
He has pushed me so hard, and some days I would wonder, “Why do I have to do this?” In the end, though, he believed in me and all the hard work really did paid off. He and his wife Li have shaped me into a better gymnast than I ever thought I could be.
When I first got here to London, I was in some pain from a tweaked muscle. I was feeling a little down. But Chow reminded me that everyone has pain. He said, “Don’t focus on that, you’re at the Olympics! If you don’t push it now, you’ll regret it.” He got me refocused, and, of course, he was right. When I got to the competition and all the nerves kicked in, I didn’t feel a thing.
Tonight, I didn’t think about avoiding mistakes — that’s what gets you into trouble. Instead, I just thought about going out there and representing Team USA, my coaches, my family and myself as best as I could. I just wanted to enjoy the moment. Chow told me not to fear what might happen, but to just believe in myself.
People have asked if I felt like I was on fire here in London, but I just feel normal, the same as I do every day in practice. The difference has been that I was ready to seize the moment, to focus and to trust in what I can do.
You say you want to do it and you dream about it every day, but then when it happens, it’s hard to believe it really has. Tonight, when the U.S. flag was raised and the national anthem played, there were so many camera flashes going off I felt like I was at a concert.
And the crazy thing was, they were all taking pictures of me."

Everyone should use this as proof that nobody what you should never give up on dreams, and hopes.
